Every once in a while a film comes down the pike that reminds you what it means to be a human being.
I am the son of a librarian and a scholar. I’ve worked many jobs in my life, and my current job is in sales support. I love what I do, and I watch a lot of TV and movies, listen to music, read books, but occasionally I view something that tears the roof off and crushes me. It’s like a tornado for the soul, but in a good way.
That’s all I have to say about The Public, because I borrowed it from the library today with few expectations aside from a stellar cast, and walked away from it changed for the better. I don’t think I need to write more than that.
