We struggle and strive for so much in this world, and yet little of it is of lasting value.

We spend our days doing what must be done to sustain physical comforts and our nights resting from our daily labors.

Recorded human history stretches backward from us a few thousand years, and eternity extends before us, infinite and unfathomable.

Our life here is brief, likely less than a century, a tiny sliver in the vastness of time. Here is the truth.

Nothing we do that does not touch eternity is of consequence.

All our striving, if it doesn’t encourage ourselves or others on the path to the Savior, will eventually be forgotten.

What does it mean to try and save your life?

It is working to preserve that which cannot be preserved.

What does it mean to lose your life for the sake of Christ?

It is working to grow the Kingdom which has no end.

Make losing your life for Him the highest purpose of all you do, and you will touch eternity in a profound way.

You will be a fruitful child of God, bringing with you many others into His unending, glorious Kingdom.
