Now I don’t approach church with a balance sheet, and look for cost/benefit analyses, but at the end of the day, Church is the best investment of my time for edification.
During the week, God blesses me with enjoyment at work helping people to buy stuff, and in the evening, I get to read and write, and there is physical exercise as well, but on Sunday, it is spiritual exercise that allows my weeks to go better.
It is not just for me that I should go, but I do reap rewards: Better spiritual connection, more fellowship, the chance to lift my modest voice with others in song, helping out now and then, and sowing God’s words of life into my existence.
I don’t know if you go to church, or if you are a Christian, but I appreciate you as a reader, and hope my work is edifying and maybe entertaining.
I encourage you to find your faith, and if I can be a slight encouragement on your way, then I am doubly blessed.
The “value” of church is in the heart, but as Nacho Libre might say, “It’s the best.” 😉
