Positive Press

In communities around the country and around the world, people are talking about what we need to do to stop the violence.

There are smash and grab robberies, cars crashing into homes and businesses, mass shootings, racial killings and more.

Should we step up police presence? Should we try harder to promote racial understanding? Should we try to stem drunk driving? Will gun control help?

Yes, those things are all good, but we need to pray.

No one knows the hour or the day of Christ’s return, but when we see our world coming apart with violence, to say nothing of what seem to be increased natural disasters, I can only think we need to live for God.

Because at the end of the day, we can do only so much.

This world is passing away, and we are going to be separated, saved from lost. I don’t want anyone to miss out on Heaven, but it is not for me to choose who goes there. It is up to each one how they choose. All I can do is pray and try to follow the Lord.

I hope you know Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Everything else is passing away.
